How to reach Sorrento

COMING FROM THE NORTH: Take "The Sun Highway" until you arrive to Naples. Then follow the signs for "A3 Highway: Salerno - Reggio Calabria" and after about 30 Km exit at Castellammare di Stabia from where, following the "Sorrento" signs you will arrive to your destination.

COMING FROM BARI: Take "The Sun Highway" toward Avellino, then the freeway to Salerno, from where you can choose between two roads: the SS163 on the Amalfi Coast, (it will take more time but it's very beautiful), or you can continue on "A3 Highway" toward Naples and exit at Castellammare di Stabia from where, following the "Sorrento" signs you will arrive to your destination.

COMING FROM CALABRIA: Take "A3 Highway Salerno - Reggio Calabria" toward Salerno, where you can choose between continuing on the same highway until you will arrive at Castellammare di Stabia, where you will find signs that will lead you to Sorrento, or driving on the SS163 (The Amalfi Coast) that is one long and panoramic road that starts from Salerno and ends in Sorrento.

The most convenient train station is Naples Central Station, at Garibaldi Square, where you will be able to catch the Circumvesuviana trains toward Sorrento station.



Same indication for who arrives at Capodichino Airport: take a taxi or a bus to Naples Central Station, and take a Circumvesuviana train to Sorrento.

During the summer you can directly reach Sorrento from Rome (Tiburtina Station, hours 7.00 a.m.) with a dedicated Bus.

During the summer you can reach Sorrento with a dedicated bus from Naples (8.45 a.m. from Pisanelli Street) and you can go back to Naples at 17.50 with the same bus.
